The key idea of the project is to reduce and/or eliminate the human factor during inspection of people and cargo by creating and developing products that simulate the routine work of security personnel using special technical means. The key technologies applied are Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning. The Quasar Optics team has implemented a number of R&D projects that have resulted in solutions for automating the work of operators of X-ray television units (XTU), used locally (through the created Q-Vision hardware and software system) and remotely (through a remote server).
The company founders have key competencies in the areas of security, IT and Artificial Intelligence. The team implemented Mail.ru projects, built personal inspection systems at hundreds of transport, sports and other facilities, including the airports of the Moscow Air Cluster (MAC), the Universiade 2013 in Kazan and the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, the team implemented projects to analyse big data for the My Street and Rosavtodor's programs for the analysis of the speed characteristics of roads on a federal scale.
